2025 Season Wrap-up

Thank you to everyone who rode with Eyes On Wheels in 2025!

  • This year we proudly fielded patrol teams for Reach The Beach, Chefs Cycle, Cascade Lakes Relay, and Hood To Coast. Chefs Cycle was a brand-new event for EOW, and it was a real pleasure teaming up with the folks from Cadence Sports to support bicyclists in Bend. At Hood To Coast, we were thrilled to have four women motorcyclists on patrol. A special welcome to our first-time riders Jenny Christensen and Lori Crichton—we’re so glad you joined us!

  • Another highlight: 34 riders strong at HTC. Hats off to Gary Roe, Mike Galloway, and BJ Herman who went above and beyond by riding both the Friday morning walkers’ patrol and the Friday evening/Saturday patrol. Doubling up is no small feat—thank you for your incredible dedication!

2025 by the numbers

  • Total Riders Participating: 43
  • Total Patrol Miles Ridden (across all events): 11,789 miles

Gratitude to our partners

  • A huge thank you to our event organizers—Hood to Coast Relay, American Lung Association, Cadence Sports, and Cascade Lakes Relay. Your commitment to safety makes our work possible, and we are proud of the trust you place in us.

Thanks to our donors

  • We’re deeply grateful to everyone who donated this year. Many riders generously gave back their reimbursements, and HTC participants showed their appreciation with contributions of their own. Your support helped us launch our 2025 Rider Recognition Program for both new and returning riders. Interested in donating? Visit eyesonwheels.org/donate, or find us on Givebutter and GuideStar. Every gift fuels our mission—thank you!

Looking ahead
