Our mission is to enhance the safety of event participants by providing a visible, mobile presence that deters interference and misconduct. Our patrols help create a secure environment simply by being present along the course.

Participant Support

Whether riding beside participants in the rain, offering water during a heatwave, or providing reassurance through the night, Eyes On Wheels riders make a meaningful difference for runners, walkers, and cyclists. While we are not law enforcement or medical professionals, we serve as trusted liaisons to race personnel and other officials when issues arise.

How We Patrol

Our riders are organized into one or more patrol teams, typically consisting of two riders each, to ensure coverage across the entire course. Depending on the event’s needs, patrols may operate during daylight hours or overnight, from sundown to sunrise.
